Rising star Tasita D’Mour has previewed her incredible debut single ‘Change My Heart’ to rave reviews as she builds up to the official release in February 2014. The singer, described as a ‘vocal powerhouse’ and having a ‘captivating’ onstage presence, will unleash the lead single from her debut EP next year.

‘Change My Heart’ will be Tasita’s first single after spending many years working alongside some of the great and good of the music industry, including Madonna, Girls Aloud, Corinne Bailey Rae, Will Young and the renowned London Community Gospel Choir.

As a lead vocalist she has achieved Number One singles on iTunes, allowing her to tour extensively across Europe, Asia and the US, exploring the music business and planting her feet. The singer/songwriter has spent a long time working on creating her own sound and her own style, and after many years, is now ready to share her personal tracks with the world.  Tasita says, “I’m so excited to be finally releasing my own music, and I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve achieved with ‘Change My Heart’.  I’ve worked with a very talented producer to create the single and EP who has really allowed me to express myself and be myself and the feedback has been incredibly positive so far.  It’s been hard work getting to this point but seeing my single released in February will be a hugely proud moment for me!”

‘Change My Heart’ sees Tasita teaming up with renowned producer Stuart Trotman, who hails from a musical background that has seen him work with the likes of Michael Bolton, Kelis, Anastacia, JLS, Jaki Graham and Il Divo, to name a few. The two have worked together for some time, honing Tasita’s sound and perfecting the vocals to ensure the song will be ready for its release in a matter of weeks.  With her main influences including Chaka Khan, George Duke and Whitney Houston, Tasita has created a jazzy, soul infused feel to her debut single, and her EP, which will see her explore her love for soul, funk, jazz and R&B to create a record that feels timeless yet current.  ‘Change My Heart’ has been described as incredibly relatable, with magical vocals, with Tasita herself taking to the stage as though it is her home.

The single is set to take the charts, and avid listeners by storm on its release in February 2014, with Tasita’s debut EP to follow shortly after.
